Put on a Face is a short-film that I directed myself
This is a psychological horror short-film (inspired by the works of David Lynch and Jonathan Glazer) that follows students coming into a photography studio to have their photograph taken, by when the camera flashes, it reveals something deeply disturbing about their true selves and their inner demons.
I experimented a lot with lighting and camera techniques to push myself in my technical craftsmanship to create disturbing images that I hope will leave a lasting impact on audiences. I also used some 16mm film emulation to push the gritty and unhinged tone of the film to the maximum.
The film will be premiering at Lancaster Horror Film Festival 2025 on October 29th (Just in time for Halloween), and I can't wait to share my experience at the festival with you all!
